Peach Parade Development consists of 80 units in a mixed housing urban zone. The site is a long piece of land that narrows to the western end and is located on the northern boundary of Ellerslie Racecourse in Remuera. It boasts magnificent views over this famed destination. The unique house layout design not only met council’s requirements for building around the racecourse, it also took advantage of the area’s beautiful and expansive scenery.
Geographical difficulties such as underground gravel and flooding issues, were resolved through the design, which has in turn reduced construction costs. The development is consistent with the urban design philosophy, where comfort and living quality are maintained.
