Hemsway Place Development

This 1,553m2, irregular shaped site is located on the northern side of Hemsway Place in Sunnyhills, a suburb of east Auckland. The site is predominantly fairly flat, but slopes down in its far north western corner.

We designed eight residential dwellings on the site to achieve maximum value. Six dwellings will be located in a terrace arrangement on the front portion of the site, with two detached dwellings on the rear portion. The dwellings will be constructed from a mixture of materials, including Alpine Sierra brick at ground level, with a mixture of white and grey weatherboards and timber to provide visual variety. The pitched roofs will be constructed of corrugated metal. The architects achieved a high-quality design and finish to the development, which will positively contribute to the surrounding area.
