OZAC Architects latest competition win is the 332,000 sqm Hauraki International Retirement Village in Paeroa, Waikato, New Zealand, the hometown of Lemon & Paeroa soda.
Joe, Director of OZAC, says, “We are thrilled to receive this competition win and very fortunate to contribute to the change of Paeroa. It was a deserted racecourse due to mismanagement. Now, it will be converted to a retirement village which contains more than 600 residential units, supported by a comprehensive and diverse range of community facilities including health and wellness centre, restaurants and entertainment centres.
Tom, Partner with OZAC, adds, “The design is a fusion of iconic architecture and functional efficiency, and this project is to greatly enhance the social and economic benefits in this district as it will create a lot of jobs for local people.”
